Por si
alguien no lo sabía todavía mi grupo favorito es Blind Guardian. ¿Por qué?
Porque no hay ningún grupo como ellos. Tienen sus defectillos sí, pero hay
pocos que junten tanta majestuosidad, música tradicional, fantasía y épica con
la caña clásica de los grupos metal sin perder la seriedad y sin resultar
aburridos y repetitivos. Son unos genios.
El caso
es que un par de conversaciones me han llevado a analizar qué libros han tenido
gran influencia en sus composiciones. Lógicamente no sólo hablan de libros,
también de mitos y leyendas celtas, germanas y escandinavas, de cosas de la
vida misma o de la actualidad, pero es evidente que la literatura es una de sus
fuentes principales de inspiración.
